another sleepless night.
feeling senti ako ngayon. been trying to sleep for hours but sleep seems to run away and my mind keeps on going after it…
the fog, the darkness, painfully creeps away.
i lie cold on the dark, dank earth
half unconscious, half awake, swimming in limbo.
as my limbs regained their consciousness,
renewed and suprised, i move.
slowly, wearily, tearfully,
i am alive.
rain fell like droplets of crystals
pounding hard and blinding my eyes,
washing away the sins, the filth, the pain.
barely breathing i trudged along, alone.
a path leading to nowhere.
knees raw from each fall pained each step.
yet i roamed,
to where fate would lead,
until light was seen and freedom was washed over.
a reward at the end of the mist.
a cruel road in which salvation awaits.
